How does the broadband service from vodaphone perform on the peninsula compared to EIR. Response would be greatly appreciated.

Might be worth mentioning where you're located. That has a lot too do with it.

I find Vodafone is great around the village, but very hit and miss around the top of the Beaverstown Road.

Ken.

When you say Vodafone, are taking about fixed line or mobile broadband?

I'm an ex broadband technician.
Was with Vodaphone at home, service was shite.
Switched to Eir, new main socket installed.
No problems since.
Price ok, service good.

BB service is subject to location.

My 5c worth, Eir.
They've greatly improved since rebrand

I'm on New Road with Vodafone for fibre broadband since they were Esat, and then BT Ireland.

Had the occasional outage over the 10+ years, but always sorted promptly.

Currently with EIR, but thinking of changing to vodaphone fixed broadband for the home. In the Portrane area.

Heard there was a new mast being located in the area of Beaverstown Golf Club...this may have a future bearing on BB quality.

Be careful of Eir. Their "unlimited" broadband isn't "unlimited" at all. It's capped at 1TB a month (sum of up/down).
