Re: Buying & Selling in pyrite affected estates
If you are buying - I would recommend it or ask the seller for a green cert / seek a price chip as remedial works could be 50-80k+ if not covered by the scheme

Re: Muck on portane road
I report them to HSE and FCC with a photo of the reg of the truck - only way to get something done unless we blockade the peninsula in the morning! Living here 40 years and most politicians have left us down and not fulfilled promises. People action is all that works

Re: Portrane Road Lorry Watch (for new Hospital works)
Resurrecting this - the trucks are getting out of hand again. Three trucks in quick succession at ten to nine this morning hurtling through village at speed - first one was driving so fast that small rocks were falling off as it went over the bumps. This is dangerous but extremely irresponsible with...

Re: Fingal cutting down one third of the trees in the Links
Classic Fingal - they did the same with the beautiful old trees on the Portrane Road between the Credit Union and the community centre and never replaced them. It looks awful now and latest fence did nothing for the area. I see they also cut down all the trees and bushes on the Seatown Rd where that...

Re: Portrane Road Lorry Watch (for new Hospital works)
Spotted the same lorry heading up the Portrane Road past Somerton / Willowbrook at ten to nine this morning. Traffic was light so he was fairly belting it. There were plenty of kids on bikes and scooters on the way to school though. Scary how close he was to the kerb... Have emailed the council to c...

Likewise. Not sure what happened. On a lighter note, the Gaurd in the passenger seat was asleep up against the glass which gave me a great laugh on the way to work!

LOST - Grey Laptop Bag - EUR 500 reward if returned
Hi - bit of a long shot but I stupidly left a grey Samsonite laptop bag in a silver minivan cab on Friday night which had a silver HP ultra notebook / laptop with Beats audio and a white Apple iPad Air. Contents are very dear to me and irreplaceable. Managed to track down the cab driver but no joy. ...
