Could anyone advise if people buying or selling their house in pyrite affected estates are being required by banks to complete Pyrite testing to complete the sale?
Thanks

If you are buying - I would recommend it or ask the seller for a green cert / seek a price chip as remedial works could be 50-80k+ if not covered by the scheme

I am selling...was hoping to hear from others who have sold in the past to see how it played out. With green cert costs of €2.5k and 8 week lead times, just wanted to see what is reasonable.

There's plenty sold since remediation happened and loads currently at sale agreed. Go and knock on a few doors ;)
