Come along and meet Officer Fiona, and Education Dog Jake!
Fiona will be presenting ‘STORY TIME WITH DOGS TRUST’ where you’ll get to hear all about DEXTER the dog and carry out some FUN activities.
Will Dexter’s tale have a ‘waggy’ ending??

Fingal Libraries are excited to announce their participation in Overdrive's Big Library Read: a worldwide digital version of a local book club, which will run from 13th - 28th Oct.

The title chosen is 'Anatomy of a misfit' by Andrea Portesand users will be among the first to read the title just released on September 2.

Already well-received, this witty yet moving novel will be a refreshing read for library members. Borrowers will have unlimited access to this title for the duration of the Big Library Read.

Post your comments about the book on Twitter using #BigLibraryRead , they will be of interest to many participants around the globe. It will also be an opportunity for members who haven’t previously used our eBook service to give it a try.

Donabate Library Book Review Competition (For Children)
Children are invited to submit a review of their favourite book at any time before the 31st of October. There are two age groups 7-9yrs & 10-12yrs.
Reviews should be no longer than 300 words. The winning reviews will be published on the Fingal Library Blog and prizes will also be awarded!!
Entries need to be emailed to donabate.library@fingal.ie anytime between 1st - 31st of October 2015 (please give age of child and contact phone number).
Only emailed reviews will be accepted.
