I am relatively new to the area but I have to say that I am extremely excited about the news coming out this week regarding the
Ancient ‘lost’ chamber uncovered on Corballis site in Donabate; https://www.independent.ie/regionals/du ... 54332.html

Looking forward to hopefully getting a chance to visit it.

This site had planning approved for a significant amount of housing right?
Be very interesting to see how this affects things.

As an educated guess the planning permission will be revoked and the developer will need to apply again with possible amendments as to how they will not disturb the find.

Personally, I know the houses are needed but it should be revoked completely, we cannot loose these findings from our history.
