Saw people today in Portrane , middle beach (beside the flag waving house) and Donabate beach. Tbh - it was very choppy. Saw 2 articles about people needing rescuing in Waterford and Portmarnock in last few days. i do a lot of distance pool swimming so was genuinely surprised to see people out especially at Portrane, temps were ok, but sea currents were not. Stay Safe all and Happy New Year to all Donaportranners.. (just my opinion
