It may be the WFH and endless isolating, but I saw a route of small red and white markers in the field beside the bend as if indicating a revised potential road. Although it may just be the voices in my head.

There are plans to realign that bend which involves a CPO of part of the adjacent field. There were plans published a few months back. Not sure of the timing.

I think the works to realign the road at that bend were meant to start earlier this year, but the Covid outbreak put an end to that.

That was why that section of the Hearse Road wasn't resurfaced.
