LAPTOP REJUVENATION SERVICE.
Lots of people have lots of Laptops still. They’re mostly slow, virus ridden, hosting Malware and even storing Porn (someone else’s of course). There might be old unwanted programs, junk or software no longer needed. A lot will be running Windows 7 but too under spec to run Windows 10. For a very, very reasonable price I can wipe your computer and install another Operating System. You’ll be amazed at how fast your Laptop will run on Linux and how it can meet most of your computing needs. If you’ve really lost interest in Windows I can install the latest release of Android effectively turning it into a Chromebook. If you really, really need to stick with Windows I can install Windows 8.1 instead which I cannot recommend enough. For a little extra I can make your laptop “dual boot”. This means when your PC starts you will be given a choice of which OS you want to use. Imagine an Android machine for relaxing and streaming or browsing or just for the kids and Windows to do a bit of work. Both on the same Laptop ! The options are too numerous to list so if you’re interested contact me for all options available and prices (which start at €25).

Do you tking it could be the start up?

Very, very likely. Try running "taskmgr" and then checking under the "Startup" Tab. You'll get a partial list of Programs launched at start up there. You can start disabling the items you're absolutely certain are not required there one at a time. Reboot after each one to check for adverse behaviour.
In closing, I've worked with every iteration of Windows since release 3 and I wouldn't use Windows 10 unless I was paid (lots). It's the worst platform since Windows NT. Microsoft seems to to have launched it way too early and are using the public as a test bench for snag reporting. Windows 8.1 seems to have slipped in under the radar but it's their greatest success since '98 and XP. I could replace your hard disk and let you run it for a Week or two to see what you think free of charge.
