JOB DESCRIPTION
• refining and implementing direct and online marketing plans covering our different products and markets – schools, escorted tours, battlefield tours, sports tours, private tours etc
• managing the company website and assisting users with their accounts
• taking charge of promoting GTI Travel where possible ie travel events
• managing direct and online promotions & campaigns
• working with the sales team to plan & prepare email newsletters and campaigns to grow our database
• liaising with web development agency for ongoing website development projects and updates
• managing Google AdWords
• managing social networking activities – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
• analysing website traffic, campaign performances & reporting analytics
• refining & implementing SEO
• sourcing & maintaining digital content
• marketing administration
• assisting with other marketing projects, events & activities
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• excellent computer design skills
• flair for design, layout and working with imagery
• proficient on InDesign, WordPress & Microsoft Office
• experience using graphics software for direct & online projects
• a thorough understanding of marketing with excellent analytical skills
• experience using content management systems and an interest in technology
• the ability to work on own initiative, manage a busy workload & work under pressure to deadlines
• accuracy and attention to detail essential
• an excellent command of English is a prerequisite as is a visa to work in Ireland
• a proven track record and a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar consumer internet marketing role
Candidates should be well organised, have first-rate communication skills and an ability to multi-task. Our office thrives with people who work well as part of a team with a can-do attitude and enthusiasm. They should have strong organisational & project management skills to implement and improve the company’s marketing strategy.
PACKAGE
Hours are 09:00 – 17:30 Monday to Thursday, 09:00 – 1700 on Fridays however flexibility may be required during busy periods.
