Is there a special skill-set required for minding the children of teachers or something? 😜

Yes. Childminders only required for a few hours every day apart from Easter, Christmas, Summer, mid term breaks, bank holidays, in house teaching days, election days not on Saturdays and strikes......

Only joking before I get set upon by the mob.....

It’s to let the childminder know they are not required during school breaks so they need to factor this into their pricing as they won’t be paid those weeks.

Hi Laura, all jokes aside, I am a childminder in close to the national school. I’ve currently got some lovely teacher babies but one is leaving in the summer.
You can message me if you’re interested 😊
