Interesting post on the Dublin Down Memory Lane group on Facebook.

It shows pictures of Lambe's fruit farm. No date, but looks like the 50's or 60's. When it refers to the farmhouse in the background, I presume that's Beaverstown House on the Beaverstown Road? Prior to Lambe's I believe that house and outbuildings were connected to the Barnewall Estate which Turvey House was the main residence. Turvey House was demolished in the 80's and was located behind the now defunct Turvey Golf Club building.

The fruit picking was a bit before my time. I presume it was the lands where Beaverstown Orchard, Beaverbrook and Beaverstown Golf Club are now located?
