Hi,

I am just enquiring whether there is a Donabate Sea Swimming group that anyone knows of? I couldn't see anything on Facebook but there is one in Rush. It would be great to have a meet up in Donabate too though.

Hi I'm not aware of one but I'd be interested in starting up a group - pm me if interested.

Hi,

I would also be very interested in one too. I saw something on Facebook a while ago about setting one up but I can't find it now.

Thanks
Niamh

I see a small group of ladies who swim on Donabate beach around 9.30 am on Monday mornings when i am walking there. Might be worth investigating.

Thanks for the replies. I have a friend who does sea swimming on the south side so I've contacted her for some more information on best times of day to go! Seems a waste to not make the most of the sea so nearby!

Do you know what area of the beach they use for their swimming? Is it in the cove or just along the main stretch of sand?

They seem to stick near the rocks on the left hand side just as you enter the main beach.
