A kinder gentler place?

This morning as I walked to the station, several cars slowed and drove around the puddles in an obvious attempt to avoid drenching the pedestrians.
I have noted a few other improvements in how we're treating each other lately... Has anyone else noted similar courtesies?

It is all looking good until you approach the lift in the train station which is flithy.

Yup, it's really thoughtful of Donabate drivers to slow down and care not to drench pedestrians.
Not so long time ago, on a particularly miserable day I've been offered a lift from the train station by two ladies.
It’s as simple as saying 'hello' a person passing by but these small things certainly make the village appear friendlier.

Yeah sure has, I got a lift to the train on the really wet morning during the week, was very thankful

Random acts of kindness very welcome and much appreciated
