Throwing stones

A group of 20 or so were throwing stones in Beresford today at around 6. The group were confronted by a passer by. They narrowly missed a few cars parked in drive ways. Parents please know what your children are up to....because they are not always where they say the are.

take a pic on your phone, post to shame them.
Had a similar experience whilst painting railings for Tidy Towns.

Throwing of stones should be classed as assault.

I would hazard a guess its the usual suspects, and you'd be surprised who their parents are, better leave it at that before the pc brigade etc. start crapping out of them - these kids think they are untouchable that is why they continue doing what they are doing, people need to cop on and address this and be proactive, they think there big fish, but in a very little pond....

Ha ha some PC Dudes will surely come on and say "It's only kids having a bit of fun!" Or "What's a bit of stone throwing when people are shooting each other on the streets!"

I said it before these scrotes need to be up before a court of law...then you would see their parents whinging ...

few called the Gardai - when I rang I was caller number 7

apparently they were tied up with an incident on the main street by the time the gardai got to the estate the group had gone

same group did the same thing a few months ago - made their way through the estate then onto the building site , throwing stones at the new houses......

CM27 / eagere, fair play, you should always call the Gardai when such incidents arise.

I know for a fact that some of this group are participating in MMA and because of this they think they can threaten and intimidate locals in the village. They obviously haven't been taught any respect either at home or at this MMA club. Although some combat sports can be very beneficial to the students that learn them I would never have recommended it to these thugs.

They also have no idea that someone they may pick on, may be highly trained in a different discipline and could easily defend themselves if attacked, even by a group.

Anytime I see these people, I ask them to help the homeless and for a few bob. It's the only way to deal with them.
