Planning Portrane Road
11 unit planning in for Portrane Road - close to hands corner. Refplanning F17A/0274. Not exactly what you would describe as in keeping with the surrounding properties. Lethal exit onto the main road. Interesting cut and paste on the traffic report that details commentary on traffic on the "Howth Road".
Hi Steve, had a look at this.
1) They are houses, much like the surrounding properties?
2) The "Lethal" description of the exit is nonsense.
3) This cut and paste thing is probably your best bet for an objection. Some may see it as grasping at straws though.
I find, using a fair and open mind works best when looking at any planning application.

I disagree that there is nothing to be concerned about here. We should be at least logging observations regarding traffic management issues for any development north of the village. Given the problems of getting through the village at peak times and knock on impacts on adjoining roads like Beaverstown Road, this one is worth submitting an observation on traffic management grounds alone.
Details for submitting an obersvation are in my first post on this section. The cost is €20.
