Dog Barking - Beverton

Has anyone else heard the dog barking every morning at 6am ? To be honest you'd wanna be deaf not too.....
It's in the vicinity of Beverton Way/Drive/Walk/Avenue,
It seems like its let out while owners go to work and they could be unaware that it keeps barking.....

Yes Bevertonian it's driving me mad too. None of my close neighbors have a large dog so I don't know where it is coming from. Certainly is very loud, enough to wake me up and it does seem to start around 6am.

I live on Beverton Drive and it appears to be one of the houses directly behind me  reinforces my decision not to have a dog..

Agreee, to be woken every morning at 6 by the same dog it's extremely annoying. It's coming from Beverton ave and maybe owners are gone to work but their children are there and should bring the poor dog in how they sleep through that I don't know it's unfair to their neighbors around bev ave and bev way. Really fed up with it and think to be a good neighbor they need to bring the dog in PLEASE!! ;)

"Heard" is an understatement...
Pretty sure the owners were unaware of the situation simply because they wouldn't be able to stand the noise up close.
Thanks for bringing that up @bevertonian

Has anyone been disturbed by the loud barking dog that is in a house in Beresford which backs onto beverton meadows?

Yes. Thought the dog was in Beresford too. It sounds so close. Same dog?

Yes, its so loud it seems to affect a few different parts of Beverton and Beresford. I just can't believe their direct neighbours have not approached them about it. And if they have, that someone would be so ignorant as to keep leaving the dog alone for hours on end. The dog is clearly distressed, as I'm sure their neighbours are too.

Definitely Beresford, I've since discovered which house it is. I'll let them know if it doesn't improve. They actually may not be aware, although I would be shocked if their next-door neighbours haven't said it.

I found online a 'Bark Control' Device. Its for training dogs. Basically it emits a high frequency noise, only audible to our canine friends. Its only triggered when the dog barks, thus the dog learns that barking will illicit the unpleasant noise & thus the dog stops barking.

For best results it should be placed within 50 yards of the offending mutt.

A few different models / brands available online

I and probably half of Donabate could hear that distressed dog barking coming from over towards beaverstown road all thru the night. Great start to the Bank Holiday weekend. Can only assume the owners have ZERO respect for their neighbours and animals.

Why has nobody knocked on the door or dropped a letter in the neighbour's letter box, it seems to be going on a while now

Has anyone else been disturbed by the barking (now whimpering)dog in Beverton? He started barking at 7am - so much for the extra hour in bed
