May be of interest to some. Closed by the FSAI for food safety concerns. I believe it's still closed and there are no further details.

Ken - I don't know weather to hug you or punch you

Although in saying that I have noticed it's had gone a bit downhill lately!

I got a takeaway delivered on the 11th. The date on the site says the closure order was made on the 8th with no update as to when it was lifted. It must have been lifted, but the FSAI site hasn't been updated.

It would be interesting to know why they were closed down.

Ken.

As a regular, I'm shocked and stunned - wasn't as good as Indie at the restaurant but never saw that coming

The Chilli Shaker Indian in Swords is always good. I've been going there and getting takeaways from them for years.

According to the site today, the closure was lifted on 12/3. That makes my takeaway order on the 11/3 all the more intriguing. Maybe they needed a guinea pig.

The order could have been cooked in the restaurant itself while closure was in place.

As an aside - I used to always order direct from the restaurant and collect, rather than the off-site kitchen.
Yours Sincerely, JPX

Interesting article this morning shedding light on "closures" and how they should be reported.
