can anyone recommend a good provider for a steel garden sheds, ball park price for the shed and steel base would be very helpful

There are steel sheds for sale down in Jones Garden centre, as well as SteeTech in Julianstown. AFAIK, steel sheds need to go on concrete or wood base. If you really need a steel base, it may be a custom job meaning it could be more expensive. Prices all depend on size, single or double doors, roof type etc and any other options you require. Best look at what the providers have and take it from there.

I'm awaiting delivery of a Steeltech shed at the moment, also looked at the Adman sheds in Jones' before. The prices vary with shed size (obviously!) and options such as woodgrain finish, windows etc. In general they will be a lot more expensive than your average Barna wood shed, but should be maintenance-free and generally much better quality in the long run.

The smaller Adman sheds can be supplied with a wooden floor (and hence don't need a special base), but really you need a concrete base. Steel sheds are much more prone to condensation problems than wooden ones if a damp-proof course isn't used on the base. Note that the quoted shed prices are just for the metal; the base is separate and done by a 3rd-party contractor.
