They had a planning permission sign up a few months back. Could be redevelopment.

Application F15A/0088

Not to sure it addresses the blind entry and exit that currently exist, better ask John Downey as they submitted additional information to Fingal County Council for the application.

The new development looks impressive alright but there's one thing that they forgot to include which would have made it perfect, there's no bookies........

There's no mention of it at the garage itself, but they have planning permission so it's pretty likely that it's true.

I heard from a very good source, that the garage will close Monday 24 August for renovation. The current staff will not be back working there when it re-opens, but they do have a job Tg in one of the current owners garages.

Was in there last night and noticed that some of the shelves are empty so they're obviously working towards closing.

The garage is closing tomorrow. Opening again in early 2016. Unleaded petrol is down to 131.7 at the moment but there's only 24 hours left so you'll need to be quick.

Does anyone know.how one would.go about getting one of those jobs? We're.following both Maxol and Mace and are signed up to all the job sites. Can't get into the property to speak tof a human... any suggestions would be appreciated.

They advertised as far back as before Christmas and I haven't seen anything since so I presume the jobs were filled. I would say your best bet is to go down when they open and ask to speak with the manager. It looks as though they should be opening over the next few days.

Haven't been in there, but fuel prices don't seem to be as competitive as they were before it closed.

They're cheaper than the prices in the Great Gas station on the main road.

Was in there earlier topping up fuel.
Much better layout for vehicles to enter and exit, so long as everyone abides by it.
Could do with clearer 'No Entry' signs from Donabate.

New 'pay at pump' service will help no end.

In there yesterday. Nice and clean and decent deli. Disappointing how small the seating area is given the overall size of the building. Second floor seems wasted.
