What could you do with an extra €9,000 in your pocket? That’s what our Lotto Jackpot will be on Friday. The numbers drawn last week were 16, 20, 21 and 31. The five €20 winners were Patty Duignan, Pat Mc Caffrey, Stewart O Neill, Aisling Stenson and Kevin Duignan. Happy Birthday to Liz - our Lotto Queen, thanks for all you!

There was a great buzz in the Club this week with the news that Alex Ryan made the Dublin Minor Squad. That buzz increased with the news yesterday of Dublin's 4-22 to 1-05 victory over Westmeath. Well done to all the Girls in Blue!

That wasn’t the only excitement in the village though as we had a visit from Donal Og Cusack on Sunday morning. He led a hurling session with both our adult teams but there was a suspicious amount of juveniles who simply ‘happened’ to be down at the ClubHouse. Who could blame them? It was a great morning and we’re very grateful to Donal for taking the time to come out. Still won’t be cheering for Cork though (sorry!).

Elsewhere in the Club, a great evening was had at our Juvenile Disco. The monies raised from this one went to the Donabate Portrane Summer Festival Project which we hope will be a wonderful success. Thanks to everyone who helped out - much appreciated.

Speaking of gratitude, we held our Interactive Workshop on Monday. Our thanks go to Bruce Harley - Facilitate Extraordinaire - and his team who oversaw the evening. Thanks also to those attended; we’re going through all the different ideas and strategies proposed and will be in touch.

On the pitch, we had wins for our U16 Boys against Ballinteer St Johns 5-08 to 3-05, for our U10 Boys against Raheny and for our U18 Lads away to Oliver Plunketts. The girls fixtures should be out this week, they’ll go up on the website once we have them.

Finally, we have the information on our upcoming Cycling Fund Raiser on Easter Saturday 04-Apr-2015. This year, there’ll be two routes 54k or 115k. They’ll both leave the Club House at 09h00. The entry fee is €35. More information on the website www.stpatsgaa.com soon.
