In order to send or receive private messages through this forum, you need to have made three posts before the messaging menu is available to you.

This was put in place to stop spam accounts registering on the forum and sending private messages to the members.

When you send a private message to another forum member, the message stays in your outbox until it has been read by the recipient, it is then moved to the sent messages folder.

Need 2 more posts to reply to a message I've recieved

This is 3, should be enough

If you post a reply to a post, does that count towards one of your three posts?

Yes it does. If you look below your name in the post above it tells you how many posts you've made.

Yes you can.

Go into relevant forum, and top left hand corner is a button with "NEW TOPIC".
