Parent & Child Parking

So, I spent five minutes trying to get parked at the SuperValu, only then to see a lady swinging into the parent and child spot without a kid in sight.

Happens pretty regularly and tends to be mum types who really should know better.

They are down there with the mums who leave the kiddy shopping cars out in the rain rather than wheel them back.

Small rant over.

Saw a neighbour and his son do that one time. They were going in to get beer for their BBQ. I prayed for rain. It didn't come. They get away with it.

It's very annoying isn't it? While we're at it would someone please tell people that there is no parking space directly at right angles to the bottle bank. People park right up the edge of it and then those of use parked in the spaces opposite (to the side) are blocked in.

The car park at SV tends to empty a lot when the 9 to 5ers get off the train.

It's usually lazy overweight greedy people with little or no respect for others that do this. Very similar to the lazy so and so's that park opposite the girls school on double yellow lines.

@diggerbarnes. They parked in the disabled bay? If I had cover of darkness, they would arrive back to find their tyres aerobically challenged.

@Irishsea. Self-centered inconsiderate people can be thick, thin, skinny or short. No underlying physical features in my experience.

Agreed. But lazy people can also be overweight. The majority of them are overweight because they're lazy.
