I have had the opposite experience - wall to wall soccer when I wanted to watch the GAA but they usually have perhaps one TV showing something different than the rest.

On days like that they usually show as much as they can, perhaps the soccer was on in the bar and not the lounge?

Come back to me when you're trying to watch a Munster match ;)
