Just a few questions for you guys. Are there bus stops along the quays before the bus enters the port tunnel? What is the time duration from the city centre to Donabate? Is 5.45pm the only bus?

Thanks in advance

It's the only bus from the city centre to Donabate. There are three or four stops between customs Hse and the tunnel, located at the IFSC and then the Gibson hotel.

I'm trying to get it confirmed if changes are to be made next week or week after to the routes and timetable

Thank you Derek. Approx what time does the 5.45pm (from the city centre) bus arrive in the village?

Thanks in advance

It usually arrives around 6:20 - 6:25pm. That will likely change if the route and / or timetable is amended.

Does the 33d stop at all the stops between Portane and Donabate in the morning or just in the village? Does it still leave Portrane at 7.30 and does it stop anywhere between the port tunnel and Custom House Quay? I've checked Dublin Bus site, but thought it better to double check!
Thanks

It calls at all stops in the peninsula, including those between Portrane and Donabate, and at the requsite stops along North Wall after it leaves the tunnel

Yep, there's a stop opposite the convention centre on the way in.

I am returning to work next month near Stephens Green and the 33d sounds like a great option for me. Just read the discussion on this and wonder if it is still running, will it get me anywhere near Stephens Green before 9am. Thanks

Hi Loo,
Yes, the bus is still running and after it passes College Green it stops at Nassau St., Kildare St. and finally at Merrion Row, approx 8.30am.

Well done to everyone so far for fighting to save this bus route. With Donabate increasing and planning for more houses, its important we keep this valuable service. Does anyone know stop locations and travel times for the bus to town from Donabate as the irish rail site is not very clear. http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Your-Journey ... bles/33d-/

Thanks

Cormicar,

Portrane 7.30, opp SuperValu 7.40-7.45, all stops on Hearse Road, then onto M1 and Port tunnel. First stop city side is at O2 (about 8.05) then any of the stops on remainder of route which is North Wall Quay, Eden Quay Counterflow, Westmoreland/Nassau/Kildare/Merrion Row - last stop just after Shelbourne Hotel is about 8.30, maybe 8.20 when schools are off.
