Hi guys, I just got an allotment and would be interested in any material that I could use for it such as: old fencing, doors, windows, sheds, timber, netting, pots, pallets, plumbing pipes, carpet, building material etc. Well pretty much anything will be considered, so if you want rid of any item lying around your house or garden try me. Thanks David,we filled in an application form ages ago an never heard anything back.

Someone mentioned to me recently that there were some private allotments for rent in the area. Would anyone have details on them or a contact ?

You should contact the office in Swords. They were giving plot holders second plots last year because they couldn't fill vacant plots. So many people register but don't take up the offers and waste council time that i think they threw the list out. Express an interest and say you've been on the list for ages and you might get something.
