Am still in shock today ... God love his family and hope he is in a better place now.
Such a huge huge loss for our village and a void that is going to be extremely hard to fill.
A Gentleman to the core and always had a smile on his face. Rest in Peace Cathal.

I heard the news last night and didn't believe it, I didn't want to believe it and was shocked beyond belief when I saw the floral tributes at the surgery. Cathal was a truely wonderful person, so considerate, patient and helpful. Every time I took the kids or myself in, we were greeted with the most wonderful smile and warm handshake, there was never any urgnecy to get you out the door.
I simply can't praise Cathal highly enough, he served this community with such passion and loyalty, it's a very, very sad day and his passing will leave a great void in the village.
I can't imagine the pain Cathal's family must be feeling, it's such a tragedy. Bless his soul.

The growing number of floral tributes at the clinic is testament to the gap that Cathal's passing will leave in our community.
Couldn't believe the news when I heard it last night and still haven't quite got over the shock.
