Dog found on Beaverstown Road

We found this male Jack Russel Terrier (neutered) today (Saturday 29.6.2013) around 20.00 on Beaverstown Road in Donabate. The dog was running between the cars looking scared. He has a creamy coloured leather-like collar. He is very calm, seems well fed. If you know the dog or the owner please contact me on 085 21 37363. thanks.

Went for a walk there with him yesterday evening to see if he would lead me to his home but it seems that people in Hazlewood & Barnwall saw him before some saying that he seems to be on the run for a month or 2 already.
Unfortunately none of the people we met knew where he belongs to though
We've put up some notes in the shops today in the hope there is somebody who actually cares for that little fella.
Will take him to Lissenhall tomorrow to check if he is micro-chipped.
If not we'll try to find a good home for him or contact the DSPCA

His owner just called us so I guess it will be a "happy end" this time
