Can anyone recommend a local Auto electrician to check and remedy a suspected boot door wiring problem in my Wife's Nissan Note ?

Any decent mechanic should be able to sort that. It's either a wiring problem as you say or the lock itself has failed. I'd recommend Matt Halpin on Beaverstown Road, but here are other good mechanics on the peninsula.

Ken.

Thanks Ken but any mechanic we approached referred us to an Auto Electrician. The job was probably too fiddly or too small (unprofitable) I suspect. We tried Matt but he's booked out, anyone else you can recommend ? PM if you don't want to reply Board-wide and cheers !

I see there is a place in Rush.

East coast auto and electrics
Address: Rush, Co. Dublin
Phone: 087 259 4482

I'm no experience of them but might be worth a call.
Regards,

Ken.

Bit late, but for future reference BG Autos on Hearse Road are Mechanics & Auto Electricians. Great to deal with
