Hi all - looking to get an EV charger installed at the house. Has anyone any recommendations on any locals who specialise in this?
Are you eligble for the grant?
If so I priced around and the only place I found local(Alumina EVC) were quite a bit more expensive than anywhere else.
We'd a Wallbox Pulsar Plus installed from carcharger.ie
I'm not sure if I'd recommend the company, but the charger is great.
If you are not eliglbe for the grant I'd consider buying from midsummer and getting a local sparks to install it for you

I am grant eligible, I was talking to the SEAI there and they don’t care where you buy the charger as long as the person who installs is is Safe Electric registered and signs off on the job. I might approach a few electricians and ask them if I buy the actual wall box can they just install!
