I just want to make parents aware of the large number of teenagers gathering at the entrance to the Priory and around the small shop opposite St Patrick’s school
As a resident and with older kids I did not want my guys when they were younger hanging about in the village but I also would not expect other estates to put up with my guys and there friends gathering in such large numbers at one point
Playing ball and having the craic is grand but at times the number is quite high and they are on bikes and cars and pedestrians can hardly get in and out
A lady I know who was visiting her sister in the estate from Malahide had the hood down on her car and one guy shouted so loudly she could have crashed she said it was so loud and unexpected
Talk to your kids
Know where they are
Tell them to stay off the road where cars come in
Respect the man working in the sweet shop. He’s on his own there most of the time and is a gentleman
