My son left his bike at the station in Thursday . He stayed with a friend and so didn’t get back to collect it until the last train on Friday. The bike was very badly damaged where he could see somebody had tried to remove the rear wheel so they could take the rest of the bike.
A friend told him his bike was damaged 3 times.
This morning at the station the guy there says he’d check the cctv but couldn’t promise anything
Irish rail need to install a reliable monitoring system as our station is only manned for a couple of hours every day. I hear the camera quality is so poor it’s almost impossible to see who’s stealing or damaging bikes
