Here is a list of all organisations that get charity status.
  • Access Cinema
  • Angels Quest
  • Dublin Institute of Technology
  • Economic & Social Research Institute
  • Electricaid - this is something to do with the ESB.
  • Friends of Asthma Limited
  • The 1916-1921 Club Limited
  • The College of Psychiatry of Ireland
  • The Cork Film Festival Limited
  • Zoological Society Of Ireland
There are ten different ones for Chernobyl. 8 for Diabetes. 24 for Drogheda - including Drogheda Grammar School.

For Donabate we have:
  • Donabate / Portrane Senior Citizens Social Club
  • Donabate Portrane Community Centre Ltd.
Is it not time that some of these were classified as non - profit organisations?

I think there needs to be some change alright. But I disagree with "The advancement of religion" as being a charity. Religions should be classified as non-profit organisations
