When we moved here two years ago, the Educate Together had a very long waiting list, but they had no trouble getting a place in St. Patrick's Girls School. Not sure of the current situation, but I'd imagine it would be about the same.

i can only speak about places for junior infants, but the Educate Together has a waiting list, as does the girls national school.

no harm in giving them a call though, they are very approachable.

Those are the only two primary schools in Donabate, so those would be your only local options.

If Educate Together is your preference, you may have more luck getting a child into First Class that you would into Senior Infants. They tend to be very over subscribed. We moved our son into Third Class in the ET a few years back. We had to wait about 6 months for a place, but we did get one.

As mentioned above, it's best to contact them directly.
Regards,

Ken.

It's an English school, but they still have to learn Irish.

We are moving back to Ireland (Donabate) next year and I contacted all schools. I secured a place for both my son and daughter in the national schools no problem. Educate Together has a waiting list for the classes they will be going into (2nd and 4th). Hope you get sorted.
