33D Bus

Hi just posting this to see if there would be any interest from locals to see if we could have the 33D Bus service start at Stephens Green in the evenings. It's great in the mornings however it seems a real pity that it can't be used by South side workers in the evening. Please post if there would be any interest in this. Thanks

Yes, extending that to Stephens Green would be distinctly helpful.
Only issue is, I'm not sure how easy it would be to have a route extended.

Well it is something we could discuss with our local TDs. If there was enough support surrounding this we could start a petition to Dublin bus and see if we could get any traction on this matter to at least get them to investigate the route.

Bad idea. The mess being created by Luas cross city will mean it's pot luck as to what time it reaches the quays. Dublin Bus is already complaining about the effects of this and also that the proposed College Green Plaza will have - see today's Irish Times...

While it would be great to have it start at the Green but should see how things are after luas works finish. 41x comes from ucd but it's a joke at the moment having to go from green to westland row to O'Connell bridge and then turn right down quays.
