Hi, does anyone know whats being done at the site beside the railway bridge. They've been clearing the land and recently have started putting hoardings up.

Is it anything to do with the new roads?

It's a development of 4 detached houses. It also includes a footpath and widening of the road which will be welcome. However, the entrance for the 4 houses will be onto the Hearse Road which will ad its own problems on an already bad bend.

Ken.

Thanks Ken

That's going to be a tricky entrance to get out off.

Doesn't look like it's on the bend from that elevation but sure anywhere off that site isn't great. You'd be off your head that close to the train station.

No, not on the bend, but not far from it. Cars will be turning right from there to head into the village.

It gets worse - how can you allow a t junction on the hearse road at that location ? it beggars belief. Even with the relief road in place, this will be a serious bottleneck. Next thing they will introduce traffic lights here.
