Hi all,

I just saw on the Educate Together website, that you can express an interest for new Second Level Schools in both Swords and Malahide-Portmarnock opening in 2017.
If you are interested, link here - https://www.educatetogether.ie/our-netw ... -Up-Groups

Very interesting. Wondering would their be an appetite for one in Donabate?

An update on the topic.

I received the email below, good news :)

Educate Together is happy to let you know that we have been awarded a new second-level school in Malahide Portmarnock. The school will open to First Years in 2017 and will eventually serve 1000 pupils. The location has not yet been announced by the Department of Education and Skills.

We will send a link in the coming week with more information on admissions policies and enrolment. In the meantime, we would like to thank you for your support and look forward to working with you on opening this brand new school.

Bit of a joke. Mala-white already has a strong Community School. No need for it. Porto also has a decent one. Difference between community school and educate together pretty slim jim.
1. No uniform
2. A PTA instead of the VEC

after that what's the difference?
