Re: Local Election Results 2019
The same candidate gets voted back in because they have delivered a huge amount to the community in the last 5 years. That is fact, not opinion. So many people have received that help first hand so that is why they vote the same candidate back in. Simply blaming the local councillor for all the plan...

Re: Methadone Clinic
It is quite concerning to see the level of escalation of incidents recently. Don't think that's down the the methodone clinic as that's been there for a number of years now. Either way, we do need to understand what is driving the increased crime rate & that isn't readily available at the moment...

Re: Local Elections 2014
now i'm intrigued! makes the election a little more interesting. how about firestarter7, another new registrant to post about the elections. which is completely fine in itself but of course suspicious me becomes even more suspicious! :) and the fact that they said on two occasions that FF aren't th...

Re: WARNING FF on the prowl
It is definitely important to get behind what is being said by the candidates to understand what actually is being done by the candidates, otherwise it can all sound the same. The difference between what Adrian has done vs other candidates on the all-weather pitch? Quite simply, Adrian was one of th...

Re: WARNING FF on the prowl
So the fact that local County Council, which is directly responsible for all local planning decisions, has had a FG/Lab majority for the past 20 years has absolutely nothing to do with any bad planning decisions in this area. It was solely down to the FF national party. Sorry, I am not buying that l...

Re: WARNING FF on the prowl
As entertaining and colourful as your anti-FF ranting is, as I have said, FF is not my political party and you are entitled to your opinion on them. It still doesnt change the fact that Local elections is absolutely about what type of person the people of this community want to represent them in Fin...

Re: WARNING FF on the prowl
Like I said, I am interested in understanding what each local candidate will bring to these local elections. If You want to rant on about FF, then knock yourself out as FF is not my party. You have not mentioned anything on local issues, what each candidate has done, not done or will do so maybe it ...

Re: WARNING FF on the prowl
Fingal County Council is run by local councillors, not national parties and anyway FG/Labour have had a majority in FCC for the past 10 years so I don't see what FF's national decisions have to do with local decisions. In my opinion, People are in negative equity because a combination of politicians...

Re: WARNING FF on the prowl
Have to laugh at this post. Why dont you come out and say which candidate you are working for so we are all clear on your agenda, rather than attacking a community volunteer like Adrian Henchy. Last time I checked, Local elections was about local candidates. What that has to do with national parties...
