Re: Carrs Mill Park Locked
I see Councillor Paul Mulville has put a laminated update at the gate near the new creche. It was there yesterday morning. Also something n it about the bottom of the lane from the Beaverstown side that's always flooding. But again usual lameness and procrastination from the council. They must have ...

Adrian Henchy sent out a notice as well. Strategic Housing Developments are meant to fasttrack much needed development instead of getting permission from council. We're seeing abuse of this process in an effort to bypass council, knowing full well it won't get within an asses roar of getting approve...

Take a video and notify warden. I eventually followed a dog who regularly did his business on our green. Owner tried to say he got out. I said he must "get out" everyday, that I had video and I would notify warden if I saw him again. That was that. Need to do detective work again. We have ...

Re: Dogs on the beach
Is the beach a designated off leash area? Just because it's public amenity doesn't imply it's off leash e.g. Newbridge House is on-leash except for designated areas, but you still see dogs let loose on the playing fields.
Grrrr.
Grrrr.

He's back with owner. Vet scanned and then contacted them to collect. I thought he was lost, but if it's a habit and I see him again it's not the vet I'll be calling. I doubt he's that well trained to clean up after himself.

Just picked up a King Charles near hockey pitch on Beaverstown Road. Collar but no tags. Bringing to vet later to scan for chip. But if anyone knows who it might belong to please PM me.

Could it be Panda tagging bins with overdue accounts? A year ago I thought I had all bills up to date but then one day bins not collected. When I queried with Panda they said bill outstanding. Was all set for a "debate" until I realised payment hadn't gone through. Having said that, I don'...

Government need to get off fence and change "should" to "must" with right balance. My daughter was on train on Monday lunchtime and some guy was getting written up for no face mask. When Spain opened up beaches anyone not distancing was instantly fined. No verbal warning or secon...

I saw the clothes hanging, and burning trees and rubbish. If I turned up there in a campervan and did the same how long would it be before I would be dragged out of there by council/guards with a court appearance for trespass etc???

Re: Joggers/Runners
Another thing. Before covid 19 there was an unwritten rule with joggers that person B facing oncoming traffic moves onto road. If traffic coming then A and B slow down/stop. Saves person A who can't see what's coming having to stop and turn around to check traffic. if B stays on path then there is t...

Watch out for Scam mail meant to be from DPD
Hello, With the "not a lockdown" more and more of us are ordering online. I'm awaiting items myself and got an email on Wednesday that seemed to be from DPD couriers. Sender email was "tracking4@DPDgroup.ie. I've deliberately removed the links. It read... "Dear valued Customer, D...

Ken, I think a link gets sent to your new email that you have to accept before you post. I was moving email anyway as my mails to gmail not getting through. Shambles of an offering that they now will charge for. Would have moved way before now, but thoughts of updating all accounts with my new email...

Flavours of Fingal traffic
Any thoughts on traffic management for the Flavours of Fingal? I think the diversions were a small price to pay for such a popular family event. I drove from and to Donabate yesterday without too much hassle. Big improvement on the traffic chaos for access to the 2017 half marathon; that was an FCC ...

Re: Train service from Donabate to Connolly Station
Diesel trains would need to stop at at least one dart station to allow people get dart to stations like Raheny or Killester. At present that's Malahide. It makes sense. On a different note, new timetable not great -we're cursed at the moment as even a short delay in dart ahead means we're crawling b...

Re: Trains
Happy to take the 33d but some issues lately. Twice this week it was significantly delayed at port tunnel because of traffic those mornings(the rain). I got it last Friday. It flew as far as the toll, passing at 7.57. Then took 15-20 mins to get to Beckett bridge on what should be a quiet morning. W...

Trains
Hi,
Thinking of getting morning trains which I haven't done in an age. Any chance of getting on or getting a seat? I know the 6.40 was crap as it is 4 carriages. I used to get a seat on 7.20. So what's it like now for trains up to say 745? I see there is an extra train now.
