Re: Old Turvey Golf Club
That makes a lot of sense, I have not been on the new road recently so I was not aware the Peninsula had visitors.

Waste Management Providers
After moving to the area in 2020 I was very surprised to hear that we had only one option as a waste management provider and it seems that it will be remaining that way for some time. While I have absoutley no problems with the service that I have recieved to date, it would be great for a little com...

Has anybody else read/heard about this?

Re: Donabate Dexter no More?
Passing this afternoon (Thursday 29th June) I noticed a herd of Dexter in the field alongside Turvey Avenue which is definitely a positive sign. I know the inevitable will happen and the land will be built on at some stage as it is prime real-estate but hopefully the farm keep going for as long as p...

Re: Donabate Dexter no More?
Yes I had seen them using that field before but must have missed them there recently, really glad they are still trying to keep the business going. So that is what I thought, they are looking to build on the site, will be interesting to see how much of it they will be able to build on given it is bo...

Donabate Dexter no More?
I thought I would ask here if anybody has any idea what is going on. Donabate Dexter (The Dexter is an Irish breed of small cattle) farm is located in the old Turvey Golf Club for any of you who do not know, over the past few years it seemed to be going from strength to strength supplying quality be...

Re: Suspicious Activity in Beverton
Thank you very much for sharing but can I ask a few questions? What part of Beverton are you located? Did the voices sound like adults or were they possibly adolescents? Where they on the street, behind your home or somewhere else? Have you or your neighbors any CCTV or smart doorbell footage of unu...

No, not something I have noticed to be honest.
I personally have to admit that with our close promoximity to the airport I do not notice as much noise as I would expect.

Re: The Gallery - looking to purchase
You’re reply : “OMG YOUR JUST TALKING ABOUT MOULD” I’m assuming you don’t have much else to say on the subject, well …… it is quite simple really Yes, I am “just talking about mould” as you put it , because mould IS contamination, therefore I have not used the word “contamination” out of context li...

Re: The Gallery - looking to purchase
No I am not using the word “Contamination” out of context When there is damp and mould in the home be it house/apartment/flat, you're more likely to have respiratory problems, respiratory infections, allergies or asthma. Damp and mould can also affect the immune system, which it did with my own son...

Re: The Gallery - looking to purchase
Hi, I seen the post about someone wanting to buy an apartment in The Gallery and asking what it was like, therefore felt I had to say exactly what these apartments are like as I actually have lived there, I do not find it strange that I told the truth about contamination, I believe people have a ri...

Re: Finishing of Roads
Strangely enough, the part of the road where the heavy loads are delivered across has been finished, it is after there that it has not. My main concern is really for those drivers who seem to think that the estate is a race track to try and negotiate as quickly as possible, whether that is residents...

Re: Finishing of Roads
No, Beresford. The majority of the estate has been finished and I believe the council have taken over the cutting of the grass etc. for the areas that have houses complete but the final layer or tarmac, road markings, signs and especially speed bumps need done for other parts. They may just be waiti...

Finishing of Roads
Does anybody here know who in the council I need to get onto regarding getting the roads finished in our housing estate?
We need markings, children at play and speed limit signs and most importantly aggressive speed bumps. Fix My Street has now been stopped, so who do I contact?
