Re: No discrimination

Zero deaths in Ireland for those fully vaccinated, under 50 years of age between April & September of this year.

Just before he got vaccinated, my 37 yr old mate caught it & was hospitalised for 2 weeks. Had there been no room at the inn, he'd likely have died at home.

Doughbox pizzas @ the brook

These have been my weekend reward for a while now.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had anywhere ever.

The diavola & Capra are the best in my opinion

Re: Van / panel repair

ah, the van has been retruned to enterprise - just wondering if anyone had an idea of cost.

They took my 2,500 excess & I'm wondering if I'll see a cent back of that... gutted.

Re: Corballis East SHD

“Dart expansion” - they can’t just electrify the line to Drogheda - they need to upgrade it to have multiple lanes (2 in each direction). Still have the bottleneck at Connolly. Adding more darts over a longer stretch just means by the time they get to Malahide they’re already packed. They should ope...

Re: Corballis East SHD

Presumably people will be working from home from the many apartments, duplexes and houses. Alternatively they may decide to hop on the train to head to the office which is within a short walking distance. It really is ideal. Beyond that there appears to be a very welcome number of retail units that...

What really annoys me is the lack of aircon in winter - big coat on, all windows closed.

Not totally uncommon to see people pass out.

Re: No discrimination

Speaking of trains - has anyone heard any update on the new trains they ordered about 2 years ago? 40 new carriages or something?

They were at then scheduled for delivery mid 2021, but I'd guess and say production was slowed?

Re: Lack of mask wearing starting to creep in

I'm pretty sure this is Bacus Beag. Nice people and great product but they openly don't wear masks, have said on social media they won't require masks and last year had a blackboard outside the shop saying masks weren't required on their premises. If they just didn't wear masks themselves and said ...

Unless those private houses are high spec which they won't be they will be bought largely by investors who will rent most them back to the council under the hap scheme - don't be fool. Not sure about that. property in around the 250k mark would suit a lot of peoples budget. The amount of negativity...
