Re: Houses Ballymastone Disaster
In terms of what could have been this isn't the worst solution. Didn't SF / PBP / DL want 1200 houses put up but with no amenities e.g. sports putches/ running track, skateboard ring or park? What was the makeup of said 1200 houses between private / affordable etc? What would have been said on the d...

Re: Election prediction
So we end up with a party which has a military wing (oh right, they no longer exist..) which prmises everything to everyone and has a mediocre (at best) record in power up north - it was all everyone elses fault your honour.. But they also want to do away with the SCC - establised to tackle a certai...

Re: Online Petition To Remove Beverton/Ballisk Walkway Gate
I am open to correction, but the Gallery opening was blocked by a petition. The path to connect two parts of Beverton was objected to by a number of residents (more than two) and it had nothing to do with Football as it was going through a bunch of trees. ( my point here was it might make more sens...

Re: Online Petition To Remove Beverton/Ballisk Walkway Gate
I love Devitts comment of lets not bow to the will of the majority.. You're in a democracy love, you were voted into your position as part of a democratic process... As for the decision was made in 2009 so lets leave...well then we'd have no amednments to laws whatsoever based on that logic. Looking...

Smoking of stuff in public places
I have noticed recently kids of smoking something (which may not be unusual or possibly not frowned upon) in public places. While I would not be ok with this, what I have seen recently is not something I am pleased with. The railway bridge beside Ballisk Way is a common spot but it is doen within 50...

Re: Eir TV and broadband
With Eir up until this January. Had a deal with them through Metoer for TV, Wifi, landline and mobile for €96. That included all EIR & BT Sports channels. I got this by walking into a metoer store, they didn't advertise it online. Reception is ok, not stellar but not bad at all.

Well, I get the 6.37 train. It's more than 4 carriages but tough to get a seat. No chance of a seat after that.

Building off Hearse Road
Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows what the construction site just off Hearse Rd is for? I am talking about the site just a bit past the petrol station i.e. not the Distributor Road. Is that the new housing development of 500 houses?

First 1 is open this morning. There are another 2 to be opened I thought? No plans for the next two. There is no explicit planning permission for either although if Fingal CC wanted to, could order for them to put in as it is part of LAP objectives to encourage people to walk and for Fingal to prov...

Re: Management Companay - Beverton
I got a number that was pm'd to me, so I texted that number. No response, some of the areas have been cut since but not tidied. I'm sure thats delightful for people with hayfever but it looks a complete mess. There is a residents association potentially getting together - hopefully that will result ...

Management Companay - Beverton
Hello, Does anyone know who is the company in charge of mowing lawns/cutting grass in Beverton? In and around Beverton Meadows / Gardens the edges and grass had been left uncut for a long amount of time. Then they were finally half-cut and not tidied up properly resulting in loads of loose, cut gras...
