Re: Beverton Gate
A small cohort with an agenda to do just that if I recollect. The walkway through the galleries would be a huge benefit to Beverton residents. - just as the walkways through Beverton from Beresford are to the residents of beresford.

Re: Foreign students attacked and robbed in village tonight
Aoifey I think that's good advice - check your kids phones - generally and specifically if they were out unsupervised when the assault occurred. I don't think that we can blame infrastructure for thuggery and a lack of empathy with others or the environment - parents and the kids themselves have to ...

Re: Foreign students attacked and robbed in village tonight
I understand the Gardaí know who the individual who carried out the assault is and I suspect some of the responsible adults in the community also know who the individual is and who his associates are - but what are they to do with that information - what can be done when you have teenage thugs embed...

Mirror - you would be assisting the Gardaí in identifying who the troublemakers are or are not as the case may be. Members of the community suspect that certain individuals are the ringleaders - you have the details of the individuals concerned. Do your civic duty and help your community and the Gar...

Re: Ballisk Walkway opening times
I recollect there was also another walkway originally planned from Beverton Walk through the Galleries and on to the train station but as far as I know it was canned due to protestations by Beverton residents this time in the vicinity of the proposed access.

Re: Ballisk Walkway opening times
Again it is only my recollection and the residents of Ballisk Lane can no doubt better explain it but I believe they argued obviously successfully that having the laneway opened to the residents of Beverton would potentially see the residents of Ballisk Lane exposed to anti social behavior presumabl...

Re: Ballisk Walkway opening times
My recollection is that the Ballisk Lane residents were better organised and represented than the Beverton residents even though outnumbered 10 to 1... hence the restricted opening and the times themselves (allowing for the last train would have been more reasonable) plus an annual budget to pay the...

Re: Development next to the railway bridge
It gets worse - how can you allow a t junction on the hearse road at that location ? it beggars belief. Even with the relief road in place, this will be a serious bottleneck. Next thing they will introduce traffic lights here.
