You may be lucky and get a seat but I wouldnt bet on it. On the plus side the car parks are big so no problem on that front

Re: Planning permission updated on Turvey Avenue plot

I stand to be corrected, but I think that's a different site. ALDI was planned for the site adjacent to the Train Station carpark that notification may be further down the Ave opposite the field they hold the Fete in.

Summer Parties

What a weekend we have had Summer arrived, unfortunately, residents of Beverton have had its last two weekends destroyed by a number of house parties both I believe were held in a detached house facing the green. While I have no problem with a little loud noise the lack of consideration shown to the...

Re: New By Laws protest

The new laws if enforced are a good idea. But the area provided for the dogs should be fit for purpose. Common sense would suggest a better facility would encourage its use. I'm not sure if dog owners are the main park users but one uncontrolled dog off the lead impacts on everyone it comes into con...

Looks like if you get the 7.30 from Donabate to Bray train you can look forward to two extra stops from Monday. Portmarnock and Clongriffin.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

Patsman I 100% agree that incidents overstated on the forum and if you look at the bigger picture of crime in Dublin we are lucky. My main concern is how issues are dealt with. Sorry for repeating myself but I believe the policing policy for the peninsula needs to change. If the Garda Clinic was hel...

Re: Antisocial Behavior (Please read Admin Note before posti

I did write to both our local representatives asking them to arrange a public meeting on this and other issues. That was over a week ago. Guess what? no reply from either of them. I'll try Facebook next or organise the opening of an envelope that usually gets the politicians out and about. They do l...

Hi Coffeez I'm 20 years in Donabate and would buy here again tomorrow. The positives greatly outway the negatives. I think any growing young area will have some issues with teenagers. The vast vast majority of kids living here are fantastic young people who we never give credit. I know this because ...

Re: Antisocial Behavior (Please read Admin Note before posti

Some of the incidents that's have taken place in Donabate are criminal behaviour not anti social behaviour. Garda called move the problem along and they return a couple of days later. Cyclists hit with stones, that's assault nothing done. Graveyard vandalism nothing done. Women and children verbally...

Re: Antisocial Behavior

About 80 kids turned up in Beverton yesterday for a scrap. A lot of them were from outside the town. Some residents kept them under control until the Garda arrived and moved them on.The head of them was that [Admin Edit]. It's a terrible thing to say but he's going to take a serious beating from som...

DPETNS

I had the great pleasure of attending the DPETNS 6th Class graduation last night. What a wonderful and positive experience it was not just for the children, teachers, and parents but for the community as a whole. The music, artwork, videos, speeches, poems, and refreshments afterward were all fantas...

Agreed I would like to see the data and input from both sides of the discussion. Everyone who waited the 15 years for the footpath on Turvey Ave will know the council are not the fastest moving on any issue. Dont hold your breath waiting on a a quick decision.

Did the council buy it? that then allowed them to widen the footpath. I don't know where I heard that. It also looks like the metal gate were stolen some time ago.

Re: Virgin Media broadband in Beverton?

I have the Virgin WiFi TV bundle 240mb (I think) in Beverton and have found it very reliable. It does everything I need Netflix Xbox etc. would have no problem recommending it. Do the odd speed test and it normally hits the mark.

Horizon TV is another matter horrible user interface.

Guys out taking levels on Beverton Drive this weekend. Wonder are they trying to divert traffic through Beverton there are a number of Cul de Sacs that could be used as access from Beresford. May be worth keeping an eye on.

More scare mongering? A source for this information would be nice. Word of mouth or first hand experience? "A regular thing now " I must be very lucky lived here over 20 years and never seen any major anti social behavior. Would a woman attacked and beaten by a gang not make national news?...

Got to the train station about 7.30 this morning and the Garda were talking middle-aged woman away , seemed the worse for drink or drugs not sure which.
