Re: Supermarket self-service
Same here, I hate using the store. I only do if I'm really stuck. There's no room in the store and most of the time the isles are filled up with staff stacking the shelves during busy periods. And don't get me started about the self service tills, they never work and then you are left there with a s...

Re: Hearse Road after the railway bridge
Thanks Quello Serio, just looking at the wall this morning, its nearly half way down the road. There's not going to be much left for them to widen.

Hearse Road after the railway bridge
I just see they have begun to build a wall along this section of road where they had previously cleared trees etc. I thought the idea was to widen the road here as it was too narrow for large vehicles to pass each other. With the wall in place it doesn't leave much room to widen the road.

Re: Boy racers last two weeks
I'm in Beverton and heard them about 2 weeks ago late on a Sunday night but haven't heard anything since. They sounded loud but I hadn't a clue what direction it was coming from. I'm guessing the old Turvey Golf Course carpark area would make sense as its the only biggish area where you could get aw...

Re: Mobile Networks in Donabate
Ah, I was wondering why I was able to get a 4G signal since before Christmas with 3 :) . I'd have 4G now most of the time with the signal occasionally dropping down to 3G. I'd use my phone mainly for downloading or streaming and have noticed the download speed is much faster lately. I don't use it m...

Early 33 bus from Balbriggan to City Centre via Donabate
Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows what stops in Donabate the 33 bus from Balbriggan (4.50am) calls at. I've been on to Dublin Bus but have heard nothing back.
Thanks
Thanks

I passed by it this morning and it was off. It must have been a right pain for the people in the apartment block that backs on to it.

Development next to the railway bridge
Hi, does anyone know whats being done at the site beside the railway bridge. They've been clearing the land and recently have started putting hoardings up.
Is it anything to do with the new roads?

Re: Donabate in the News....
I see they've replaced all the broken panels this morning at the train station. It looks much better now on the platform. I just hope they are left alone this time.

Re: Donabate in the News....
Kids today are stupid. Last night, more wooden fencing slats were kicked out on the northbound platform. Do they not realise, if they continue to vandalize it, it will be replaced with a metal one like the entrance I spotted an unpainted one snapped in half this morning and a few missing while wait...

Re: Cycle to Swords (Seatown)
I did it a couple of weeks ago when the tide was out and there was a section where it was mostly shingles and I couldn't cycle it even with mtb tyres on. I had to walk most of the way but its only a short section.
If you could figure out the tide times it would be doable.

Re: Locking a bike at the train station
They only have the U shaped racks at the moment in the shelter to lock bikes to. I think there were some thefts of bikes a few months back as I remember Charlie Weston (Irish Independent) tweeting about his own bike being taken there but there are plenty of bikes there now everyday with the good wea...
