Re: Indoor TV aerial
Hi Late reply but wanted to say. My outside aerial was taken down by a builder (very long story) and we had two new TVs installed (by myself) . Electrician ran cables from the walls to attic and I used a powered aerial from PowerCity, in the attic. Split it with a powered splitter. SO far so good. N...

Re: Hate symbol being sprayed on various buildings in the community and has had to be painted off
Pepe isn’t a hate symbol. Unless the images have done obvious hate attached to them then it’s probably more likely just an internet meme.
What’s there any words with the images? Or any other things painted?

Atheist Youth / Adult Group
So I saw an ad on SuperValu notice board for Young alpha online - an online class for christians that’s trying to provide answers. I find it interesting that religious groups tend to be more active in reaching out and recruiting young people. I was wondering is there an Atheists group in the area fo...

Lack of mask wearing starting to creep in
So..... I’m at Maxol garage and two guys just walked up from a local estate, one put his mask on and the other didn’t and both went into the shop for about 10 mins. Over the last few weeks I have seen this on at least three occasions. What is happening? I asked the staff and they were told (...

Re: Internet / Broadband
Hi EIRs customer service went private a year or so ago and was terrible. So bad that we moved to pure telecom for a year (better deal) With eir at the moment and just have standard broadband, maybe 20mgs at best. Actually it works fine with the odd slow times and I am even running webinars across it...

Re: Convenient Parking at Community Centre
Idling and parking are different. Leaving a car unattended is a problem but in my mind simply waiting is not an issue. Especially as at the train station there are plenty spaces. I often pull in to drop off my wife and I would give a swift ‘feck off’ if anyone told me off. Also I don’t think that us...

Hi I have been following the thread since Skips first post but on my phone and felt I needed to reply via the laptop as there was to much to say ... so here goes. Re: Toxic Masculinity - Men's Social?
Totally agree here with skip. Masculinity isn’t toxic but you can have toxic masculinity. You can have toxic relationships, dosent mean all relationships are bad. The fact that some users have had to openly state their love for bikes, pints and betting as a response to someone looking for a social o...

Hi Skip
Nice post. Sounds good. I’m a bit the same, looking for an activity that’s not sports or alcohol based.
BTW I wasn’t surprised by the response of some. When you question the status quo some will quickly put you in your place.
Any ideas of activities or events?

Re: Illegal bin filling
I'm sure there's so many dark coloured Nissan X-trail Acenta on a 161 D plate, driven by women, it will be really difficult to distinguish one from the other. Illegal dumping should be reported, even if into residential bins, should be reported. Especially if you have evidence. I wonder if a screen...
