Re: The Gallery - looking to purchase

Hi, I seen the post about someone wanting to buy an apartment in The Gallery and asking what it was like, therefore felt I had to say exactly what these apartments are like as I actually have lived there, I do not find it strange that I told the truth about contamination, I believe people have a ri...

Anti Social Behaviour

I am involved in enough local sports clubs to know that the vast vast amount of teenagers in Donabate are super kids who take real pride in themselves and their community. Unfortunately, there continues to be a minority and I am going to say mainly school age boys who seem to be wandering the street...

Re: Not right in the head

It's just all bullshit. Anyone can miss to pick up a poo. It's just a poo. And in case you didn’t know, it’s fecking organic. I see comments here wondering how can it be possible to miss a poo. Jeez, someone call the FBI! It all sounds like yous clearly don’t have a problem with poos, ye just don’t...

Re: Leave your kids the f**k at home

Add to the list stop being judgemental tosser. Some people have no choice but their bring their children to the shops as they might be single parents or the other parent might be isolating elsewhere because they are medical staff like a few families I know of. Some people cant exercise at home becau...

Re: Corona Virus

Yeah there is no issue with a walk at the moment. Instead of giving information about the distance that sneezed and coughs travel, I could get my 6 year old to teach adults how to cough and sneeze properly without spreading it. People just need to be sensible. Going to howth and queuing for fish and...

Sorry Peter. Your post is the dumb one. Supermarkets cant wait to stock shelves if the shelves are empty. Your suggestion will just lead to more people going to supermarkets on a daily basis. As said above, if they are stocking shelves, give them room or politely ask if you can get something or get ...

Re: Corona Virus

Since when was it decided that kids are responsible for the spread of this virus. Yes, kids should not hang around in numbers. And it is irresponsible to allow it. But I have heard people saying they are not letting their kids outside the door. Like this will be over in two weeks or something. Meanw...

At the very least you must have been suspicious that you were buying stolen goods so absolutely no sympathy for anyone stupid enough to buy something from the back of a van in a pub carpark.

Re: New bus service to the city Centre

Yeah but the annual ticket is nearly the same price as an annual dublin bus and irish rail ticket. Just not worth it for a bus with such limited service including none at weekends. If you could combine it with a rail ticket then maybe but just too restrictive for anyone that buys an annual tax saver.

Nice. Someone posts here looking to socialise in the community and ends up being threatened. I'm done here I agree. He is not forcing anyone to be friends with him. He just wanted to know if there were people out there who shared the same interests as him. Dont know why people are getting offended ...

i'm normally the first to go off on a rant about antisocial behaviour but in this case i think we should think about it a bit more. i pass by the shops on the portrane road a lot and i have seen the 'gang' that you're referring to. I recognise a few of the kids in that 'gang' and they are some of t...

It is to welcomed but it is going to struggle. The advantage of the 33D is that I can use my annual bus and ticket so both are available to me on a daily basis. To use this bus, I will need a separate ticket or keep cash on my leap card. People will more than likely have to choose between a ticket f...

Re: Biggest Kick in the teeth to the people of Donabate so far

I've no problem with people criticising local representatives when it's due. My point was purely in relation to this issue where the developer appealed the FCC decision to ABP. It might have helped if local councillors had actually made a submission on the planning appeal to ABP... Did you? Or did ...
